設計初衷表達 「台灣好美 台灣好香」之想法。

檜木曾是百年前日本殖民時間作為建築之用的重要建材，穩定、耐腐、抗菌，具獨特檜木醇成份。

檜木生長時間極為久，1公尺(100公分)長的台檜需要兩百至三百五十年以上的時間， 才能生長到此長度

因此很難以復育的方式來持續穩定生產珍稀台灣檜木

Production of taiwan cypress joinery, creating new life "Sustainable Eternal Series"

The original intention of the design was to express the idea that "Taiwan is so beautiful,

Taiwan smells so good".

taiwan Cypress was an important building material during the Japanese colonial period a hundred years ago. It is stable, corrosion-resistant, antibacterial and has a unique hinokitiol component.

It takes a very long time for taiwan cypress to grow. It takes more than 200 to 350 years for a 1 meter (100 cm) long Taiwan cypress to grow to this length. Therefore, it is difficult to sustainably produce rare Taiwan cypress through restoration.

使用自行製作 CLT (Cross laminated timber) 全台檜來克服，木質特性本身因應溫溼度及木紋走向的變化，進而以技術去穩定和設計較現代型的傢具。

The brand has 50 years of local factory experience and continues to improve in engineering production.

We use self-made CLT (Cross laminated timber) made entirely from Taiwan cypress to overcome the problem. The characteristics of wood itself are affected by changes in temperature, humidity and wood grain direction, and technology is used to stabilize and design more modern furniture.

W2 has always believed that good things can withstand the test of time and last forever.
